State Police arrest Bedford woman for aggravated driving while intoxicated

Carmel, New York – On July 21, 2016, New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested 40-year-old Melissa A. Davis-Dawson of Bedford, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers stopped Davis-Dawson on Stillwater Road for speeding. An investigation revealed that she was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop.
Davis-Dawson supplied an evidentiary breath sample that revealed a blood alcohol content of .22%. She was issued appearance tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Carmel Court on July 25, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
