Narrowsburg Troopers Seize 2 Pounds of Marijuana During Traffic Stop

PRESS RELEASE

On February 24, 2015 Troopers assigned to the Narrowsburg barracks executed a traffic stop on Bridge Street in Narrowsburg. During the stop, Troopers found the operator, Russell Compton, age 19 of Beach Lake, PA to be in possession of two pounds of marijuana and a small quantity of hashish.

Compton was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, a felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in the Town of Tusten Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of bail.
