The following area residents graduated from SUNY Oneonta on May 14

ONEONTA, NY (07/15/2016)– More than 1,000 graduates were recognized at SUNY Oneonta’s 127th commencement on May 14, 2016. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and certificates of advanced study participated in three main ceremonies in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. Broadway producer Hal Luftig (1979) and set designer Neil Mazzella (1973) addressed the graduates and received honorary doctorates.

The following area residents graduated from SUNY Oneonta on May 14:

Shayne Robert of Amenia, NY (12501), graduated with a BS degree in Mathematics;

Matthew Matteo of Millerton, NY (12546), graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Business Economics;

Amber Smith of Millerton, NY (12546), graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Psychology;

Samantha Waruch of Patterson, NY (12563), graduated with a BS degree in Early Chld/Childhood Ed (B-6);

Stephen Donovan of Pawling, NY (12564), graduated with a BS degree in Criminal Justice;

Kelly Mc Fadden of Pawling, NY (12564), graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Environmental Science;

Melinda Dorn of Pine Plains, NY (12567), graduated with a BS degree in Psychology;

Christopher D’Angelo of Stormville, NY (12582), graduated with a BS degree in Psychology;

Shane Magnetti of Stormville, NY (12582), graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Political Science;

Sara Rattigan of Stormville, NY (12582), graduated with a BA degree in Anthropology;
