On Tuesday, February 24, 2015 the New York State Police at Kingston announce the arrest of Denise M. Tripp, age 51, of Woodstock, NY for the felony charge of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.
In October of 2014, the New York State Police investigated the larceny of money from Ohayo Mountain Plumbing and Heating in Woodstock, NY. The investigation revealed that Tripp stole over $36,000 from the company in 2013 by issuing herself checks that she was not entitled to. The investigation is still ongoing in an effort to determine if additional funds are missing.
Tripp was arraigned before the Town of Woodstock Court where she was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash/ $20,000 bond.
