SILVER SPRING, MD — The Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Natsumi Rao, who has been reported missing.

Natsumi was last seen on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in the area of the 3300 block of Clay Street in Silver Spring. Since then, family and authorities have been unable to contact or locate her, and concern is growing for her safety and well-being.

Description

According to police, Natsumi Rao is:

  • 17 years old

  • Approximately 5 feet tall

  • Of thin build

  • Has brown eyes and brown hair

At the time she was last seen, Natsumi was wearing a white crop top shirt and light blue jean shorts.

Authorities have not indicated whether foul play is suspected but are treating the case seriously due to her age and the duration of her disappearance.
