PLEASANT VALLEY – Suzanne Roth, 49, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She was born on December 30, 1966 to Bruce “Bucky” Daniels and Carole Daniels in Poughkeepsie.

Suzanne married Darrin Roth, on June 27, 1987. Her loving husband of 29 years survives her at home. She is also survived by her three children Austin, Sierra, and Sydney. Also surviving are her maternal grandmother Margaret Traver of Pleasant Valley, she was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Theodore Traver of Pleasant Valley, her sister Sheri Daniels and her partner Dave Rhynders of Poughkeepsie, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Gerald and Sandra Roth of Pleasant Valley, her two sisters-in-law Kelly Chermak and Shannon Linnane and her husband Michael all of Pleasant Valley, her two nieces Amber Chermak and Katie Linnane of Pleasant Valley, and her two nephews Nikolas and Garrett Linnane of Pleasant Valley.

Suzanne was loving, passionate, and dedicated about everything in her life, beginning with her husband, her children, and her animals. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being outdoors doing various activities such as hiking, biking, photography, horseback riding, and fishing. Her favorite childhood vacations were spent at Martha’s Vineyard. She and her family continued to make their own cherished memories there.

Suzanne worked at Arcadia Fields in Millbrook as Livestock Farm Manager. This was her dream job and she loved every minute of it, especially raising her Angus Beef cows. At the age of 16 she traveled to Florida with trainer Tom Struzzieri where she broke race horses with renowned Shug McGauty. Later, her dedication to horses led her to work at Exceller Farm for The Thoroughbred Rescue Foundation in Poughquag.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4 – 7 pm at 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley, NY 12569, during which there will be a Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Cancer Association.
