PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, February 23, 2015 the New York State Police at Kingston announce the arrests of STEVEN A. MEDINA age 23 and DAVID A. THOMPSON age 20 both of Stone Ridge, NY. MEDINA was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th and Menacing 2nd (Both Class A Misdemeanors) and THOMPSON was charged with Assault 2nd (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (Class A Misdemeanor).

MEDINA and THOMPSON, who are brothers, were arrested after the police were called to their residence for a domestic dispute where Medina had reportedly threatened Thompson with a sword and Thompson assaulted Medina with a baseball bat.

Both MEDINA and THOMPSON were processed at SP Kingston and MEDINA was released on an appearance ticket to appear before the Town of Marbletown Court on a later date. THOMPSON was arraigned before the Town Marbletown Court where he was released on his own recognizance to appear at a later date.
