Putnam Valley man charged with felony driving while intoxicated

Cortlandt, New York – On February 20, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested Kevin J. McMullen, 44 years old, of Putnam Valley, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.

Troopers were dispatched to assist the Peekskill Police Department with a disabled vehicle that was located on State Route 202 in the area of Conklin Avenue. The driver of the disabled vehicle, McMullen, was located inside of the vehicle sleeping. While police interviewed McMullen, he displayed clues that indicated he was intoxicated.

McMullen was charged with Felony DWI when it was discovered that he was convicted of DWI in January of 2007.

McMullen was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on March 2, 2015.
