“Take a Tromp Through the Swamp!”

Tom Sieling, widely acclaimed singer and songwriter from Newfield, New York, will perform a free family program called “Take a Tromp Through the Swamp!” at the Dover Plains Library on July 8th at 1PM as an official kick-off to the library’s Summer Reading Program events.

This show consists of fun, humorous, and participatory kids’ songs, and they’re guaranteed to engage everyone. Tom accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, harmonica, and a drum machine, and all songs include parts for the whole family.

Nicole Carner, former library director of the Pember Library & Museum in Granville, NY, said “Tom is a wonderfully engaging performer… sure to raise even the most reticent out of their seat! We ‘howled at the moon, sang a wild thing tune’, and wanted more!”

The event will be fun for all ages!

The library is located at 1797 Route 22, Wingdale, NY 12594—at the intersection of County Route 21 and State Route 22.
