Search on for Missing Patterson Man

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports that authorities are searching for a man reported missing from his Patterson home on Wednesday, June 1st.

Mr. Dariusz Maslosz, aged 49, was last seen by a family member at around 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday at his home on Caroline Drive in Patterson. When he did not return home on Wednesday evening and was not heard from, his family reported him missing.

Mr. Maslosz is believed to have taken a licensed handgun with him when he departed from his residence on Wednesday. Relatives of the man have told investigators that he may be depressed and that they are concerned for his well-being.

Mr. Maslosz is described as a white male who is large in stature, standing 6’ 7” tall and weighing 270 pounds. He has brown eyes, short gray hair, a gray goatee and wears glasses. A photograph of Mr. Maslosz accompanies this News Release.

Authorities request anyone who may have seen Mr. Maslosz since Wednesday morning or has information about his current whereabouts to call the Sheriff’s Office at (845) 225-4300. Calls will be kept confidential.
