The Cascade Mountain Winery hosts interactive mystery dinner theatre
Amenia, New York, May 28th, 2016— ACME Mystery Company will be touring to to The Cascade Mountain Winery in Amenia with one of their original murder mysteries “Homestyle Homicide.” The production runs Friday, June 17th and Saturday June 18th. Guests should be ready to embrace their inner hillbilly and join in the fun! Audiences can expect crazy pig calling, amazing food from Big W’s BBQ, local wine and of course a real mystery that requires everyone’s help to solve. This production and all of ACME Mystery’s shows are PG13 and a great idea for all ages. Tickets include a three-course dinner, wine tasting, and the hilarious interactive show!
About the show: Come a runnin’, cousins, ’cause it’s time again for the annual family reunion and the whole Freagan family is gonna be there! We’re gonna have vittles, singin’, hootin’ and hollerin’ and, of course, no family gathering would be complete without the annual pig-calling contest! Dang, you might even win a big ol’ slop bucket full of money! Yeehaw! Best watch your step on the farm this year, though. Pa’s been hitting the moonshine a might too hard and is about to lose the farm to that no good snake, Beauregard Hogwallerin! When the girls find out, somebody could end up on the barbecue!
Remember prizes are given to the top detectives who solved the mystery and also to the worst crime-solvers who completely miss the point!
Tickets are available for $45.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. Ticket price includes a three-course dinner, non-alcoholic beverage,wine tasting and the show. The performances start at 6:30.

About Cascade Mountain Winery
Cascade Mountain was founded in the spring of 1972 by Bill Wetmore who pioneered the production of premium table wines on the eastern side of the Hudson River. Bill, a former Novelist, along with his wife Margaret and their three children Charles, Michael, and Joan, planted the vineyard in 1972, built the winery in 1977 and opened the restaurant in 1985.
Today, Cascade Mountain features a full line of award-winning table wines which can be tasted at the winery tasting bar or enjoyed in the restaurant. There is also a game room downstairs with a ping pong table, dart board and large entertainment system plus you can enjoy complimentary Netflix for your movie nights!
We also have a rustic country style front porch with chairs and a table and with gorgeous views of the Harlem Valley below. There is plenty of parking as you can easily fit 10 cars or even a horse trailer and yes we are pet friendly so bring them along too. We have a fire pit to enjoy outside and with chairs around it – break out the S’mores!

About ACME Mystery Co.
Based out of Syracuse, New York, ACME provides interactive comedies in a mystery format, usually in conjunction with a dinner. Our shows play on two levels: they are extremely funny and fun to watch but there also is a very real mystery which each audience member gets the chance to solve. At every seat is a program telling you where you are, when you are, and who you are. It also tells you about the characters you will be meeting. Additionally, each table is given a Clue and encouraged to exchange this information with other tables in an effort to put together the most comprehensive list so as to better solve the mystery.
