Peekskill woman arrested for felony DWI following traffic stop

Peekskill, New York – On May 21, 2016, New York State Police from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested Lisa M. McCrae, age 33, of Peekskill, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.
Troopers stopped McCrae at approximately 1:11 a.m. for operating a vehicle without its headlights illuminated. Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, McCrae was found to be intoxicated.
The defendant supplied police with a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .21%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.
She was charged with felony DWI due to a previous DWI related conviction from 2008. McCrae was issued tickets directing her to appear before the City of Peekskill Court on May 30, 2016.
