State Police arrest Coxsackie man for assaulting a child

PRESS RELEASE

     On May 20, 2016, New York State Police at Catskill arrested John T. Jenkins, 34, of Coxsackie, NY for the Misdemeanors of Assault 3rd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  This arrest occurred after the State Police received a complaint regarding injuries on a 6 year old child.  As a result of the investigation it was revealed that Jenkins caused these injuries and as a result Jenkins was arrested for Assault 3rd and Endangering Welfare of a Child.  Jenkins was arraigned in the Town of Coxsackie Court and was released on his own recognizance and must return for a future court date.
