Kerhonkson Man Charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police in Kingston responded to a domestic dispute in the Town of Rochester on Sunday evening.  An involved party, Erik F. Fehring, age 28, of Kerhonkson was stopped on Samsonville Rd. after leaving the scene of the dispute.  Fehring possessed laboratory equipment and precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine and was charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony.   Fehring was also found to be in possession of Suboxone, a controlled substance, a digital scale and a bag of assorted fireworks.  He was additionally charged with Criminal possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Criminal use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree and Unlawful Possession of Fireworks.

Fehring was arraigned in the Town of Rochester Court and remanded to the Ulster county jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail. Assisting at the scene of the traffic stop was the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team who responded to render the laboratory equpiment and precursors safe.
