Dover Plains – Richard Adams, 51, passed away May 16, 2016 surrounded by his family. Richard was born in Sharon, CT on August 17, 1964 to the late Ernest and Anna Adams. On October 7, 1995 Richard married the love of his life, Eunice Adams. She survives at home. Richard worked as a Truck Driver for H.G. Page for many years. Richard loved to watch TV, he loved fishing, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.
Richard was predeceased in life by his brother, Charles Thorne, brother, John Thorne, brother Arthur Adams and son, Jesse Brown.
Richard is survived by his children, Teari, Tonya, Amanda and son, David and his wife Stacy. Brother Joseph Thorne Sr., brother, Samuel and wife Virginia Thorne, brother Robert Thorne, brother William Thorne, and his sisters, Theresa Alves and one loving aunt, Betty Jones. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyle, Anthony, Nathan, Carman, Samuel, Nina, Dennis, Logan, Anglisse, Chase and Peter. In addition he is survived by 14 nieces, 22 nephews, 14 great nephews and 19 great nieces.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11am at The Clove Valley Bible Fellowship Church.
