Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Wayne W. St Hill, 25 years old, of High Falls, NY.
Mr. St Hill was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving with BAC Greater than .08%, both misdemeanors, and Fail to Maintain Lane, a traffic infraction .
On February 21, 2015 at approximately 2:20 AM, Deputies were on patrol on State Route 209 in the Town of Wawarsing when a 2013 Chevy Malibu operated by Mr. St Hill pulled out of Stewart’s parking lot in Kerhonkson in an erratic behavior hitting a snowbank and almost striking the Deputies patrol vehicle.
Deputies stopped the vehicle and upon investigation found Mr. St Hill to be driving while intoxicated.
Mr. St Hill was placed in custody without incident, processed and released on appearance tickets made returnable to the Town of Wawarsing Court on March 6th, 2015, at 8:30am.
Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Anjanette Evans, 40 years old, of Kingston, NY.
Ms. Evans was charged with the Felony of Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree and the Misdemeanor of Stalking in the 4th Degree.
On February 20, 2015 at approximately 8:30 PM, Deputies responded to an address in Esopus for an additional complaint of a violation of an Order of Protection. Investigation revealed that Ms. Evans who had been incarcerated in the Ulster County jail for violation of an order of protection against the same person, had just received Pre-Trial release, and once again made contact via phone making threats against the protected party of a full stay-away Order of Protection.
Ms. Evans was brought to the Town of Esopus Court for arraignment before Judge Grieco where she was remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail to reappear on February 24, 2015 in the Town of Esopus Court.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the New York State Police.
Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Taquan Battle, 29 years old, also known as Anthony Daley, 34 years old, of Brooklyn, NY.
Mr Battle was charged as a fugitive of justice from the state of New Jersey.
Investigation revealed that Mr Battle was wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecuter’s Office for Failure to appear and a charge of Fraud-illegal use of credit cards, a Felony, and other charges.
Mr Battle was processed and arraigned befoer Town of Kingston Justice Alberstadt and was remanded to the Ulster County Jain without bail. He is to reappear in Ulster County County Court at a a later date for extradition proceedings.
