1. Today is an “A” Day.

2. Arlington High School will have a Summer Driver’s Education program. Stop by the guidance office for information!

3. Attention Modified track athletes- screening sheets are due today and we expect to see all of you at practice before Monday’s meet!

4. SAT Word of the Day: CONUNDRUM- The word means a puzzle or problem.

5. The next American Sign Language Club meeting will be TODAY in room 1116, Mrs. Roe’s room. All middle school students are welcome.

6. Attention Middle School- There are no band lessons today!

7.  6th period High School Band is cancelled today- go to LUNCH!

8.  Hurry!  Auditions are coming fast!  The date is now May 2nd- get your contracts from mrs. Garnot, Mrs. Colacchio or the chorus room.  The Talent Show is June 7th!

9.  Are you reliable? Creative? Do you want to make a difference? Do you have great ideas on how to create more school spirit at Dover High School? If you answered yes to these questions then you are in luck. . . Dover High School is looking for you to join Student Council! Election packets can be found outside Ms. Krieger’s room. All packets are due by May 10th. See Ms. Krieger for more details.

10. Attention high school students – the ALD Walk needs volunteers this Sunday, May 1st at 1 pm at the truck. Please see Ms. Armstrong for more information.

11. Junior Girls – If anyone is in need of a prom dress please see Ms. Mangar!

12. Today’s Alcohol Awareness theme is: T\Hats off to alcohol, hope everyone’s wearing their favorite hat!  Fac of the day is : The 3 leading causes of death for 15-24 year olds are automobile crashes, homicides and suicides- alcohol is a leading factor in all 3!

13. Attention 6th grade – The next Newspaper Club meeting will be on Monday, May 2nd from 2-3:30 pm in the middle school computer lab (room 1129).

14. Can you spice up the announcements….Auditions for the Voice of Dover will begin May 2nd.  See Ms. Krieger by today to sign up for auditions!

15. In honor of our Winning Mascot, next week will be Spirit Week.  Be sure to show school spirit by participating!  

    Monday- Fancy Day

    Tuesday- America Day

    Wednesday- Tie Dye Day

    Thursday- Dragon Day – wear orange and black

16.  All MS and HS students that were on Cheerleading this year and are interested in performing at Dragon Day, we will be staying after everyday until 5 pm to go over routines!

17 Thursday, May 5th from 12:30-1″30 is the presentation of the Mascot Trophy from 105.5 Kicks Radio.  Please be sure you wear your orange and black school spirit attire!!

18. Community Service Opportunities – Locust Grove Grounds – Youth Team Building & Spring Cleanup on Sunday, May 1st from 12-2 pm. San Silverio Shrine will be holding their annual leaf raking/spring cleanup on Saturday, April 30 from 9 am to 2 pm. Trade Secrets Garden Tours – Friday, May 13 to Sunday, May 15th, benefits Women’s Support Services. See Mrs. Conklin in the community service office to sign up.

19. All Juniors and guests must have their prom contract forms filled out and given to Mrs. Kermani no later than Friday, May 6th. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Kermani or your class officers.
