1. Today is an “A” Day.
2. Today is the last day to purchase your Prom tickets. They will be on sale during both lunches. The cost is $80 per ticket.
3. The library will be closed 5th and 6th period today.
4. SAT Word of the Day: ANECDOTE – The word means a short, humorous account.
5. Scrub Club meeting today in Ms. Murray’s room.
6. Any 8th grade students who would like to purchase a Washington DC t-shirt, please bring your slip and money to Mrs. Light by Wednesday morning, April 27th.
7. Hurry!!! Auditions are coming fast! The date is now May 2nd – get your contracts from Mrs. Garnot, Mrs. Colacchio or the chorus room. The talent show is June 7th.
8. Are you reliable? Creative? Do you want to make a difference? Do you have great ideas on how to create more school spirit at Dover High School? If you answered yes to these questions then you are in luck. . . Dover High School is looking for you to join Student Council! Election packets can be found outside Ms. Krieger’s room. All packets are due by May 10th. See Ms. Krieger for more details.
9. Attention high school students – the ALD Walk needs volunteers this Sunday, May 1st at 1 pm at the truck. Please see Ms. Armstrong for more information.

11. Today’s Alcohol Awareness theme is: Rock out against alcohol! Hope everyone has their favorite band shirt on! Fact of the day is: Nearly 10 million young people, ages 12 to 20, reported that they’ve consumed alcohol in the past 30 days. Tomorrow’s theme is: Too Bright for Alcohol – Wear something NEON!!
12. Music Man: All Quartet and Ladies stay after today from 2-3:30 pm. Marian, Charlie, and Harold also stay after from 2-3:30 pm. ALL please attend!!!
13. Green Team will meet after school on Wednesday. We will be working in the courtyard garden and also checking on the greenhouse.
14. Virginia Beach Choir will meet today from 3:30-5 pm. Make every attempt to be there!!
15. Attention all Juniors – The Little Caesar fundraisers will be delivered on Wednesday, April 27th. Please arrange for transportation of larger orders!
16. Attention Algebra II Trig students: Any student interested in after school tutoring on Mondays or Saturday mornings, for Regents Review and Prep, please sign up in the main office or see Ms. Angelis today.
