State Police at Liberty Make Arrest in Grahamsville Burglary

PRESS RELEASE

On February 19, 2015 State Police at Liberty arrested a Woodbourne man after an investigation into a residential burglary. Joshua Kiefer, age 28 was arrested by State Police investigators from the Liberty barracks at the conclusion of an investigation into a burglary reported to State Police on February 11, 2015. On that date, a homeowner on Main St in Grahamsville reported coming home to find that his home had been entered and a large safe had been tampered with. The investigation determined that Kiefer had entered the home and tried prying open the safe unsuccessfully.

Kiefer was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, a felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
