Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to Millbrook School Road for a one-car auto collision.  An investigation revealed that Plass was operating a 2015 Chevrolet pick-up truck on Millbrook School Road when he exited the roadway and struck a tree.  Prior to the police arriving on scene, Plass fled the area traveling toward Bangall Amenia Road.  Troopers followed a trail of debris and engine oil to locate the heavily damaged pick-up truck traveling on the Shunpike.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Plass was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
