Obituary, Norma B. Pasqualino

 

Norma B. Pasqualino, of Patterson, NY, died on March 14, 2016 at Putnam Hospital Center. She was 92 years old.

Mrs. Pasqualino was born on October 18, 1923 in Bristow, OK, daughter of the late Joseph E. and Christie C. (Spoon) Bowling.

On April 12, 1944 she married Saverio Carmelo Pasqualino in Oklahoma City, OK. He predeceased her on May 25, 1993. Together in 1983 they moved to Patterson, NY.

When her oldest son was about 5 years old, she went to Drake Business School in NYC. Norma was a legal secretary for 31 years before retiring in 1989, first with Davidson, Dawson and Clark and later with Coudert Bros. both in Manhattan, NY.

She was the vice president emeritus of the Landmarks Preservation Society in Brewster, NY, and a member of the National Genealogical Society for which she attended conferences throughout the United States for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and hiking.

Mrs. Pasqualino is survived by her two children; John Timothy Pasqualino of Patterson, NY, and Mark Warren Pasqualino of Poplar Grove, IL. She was predeceased by her sister Jane McCulley in 2009.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10am at  1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. Interment will follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home on March 16 from 5-7pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norma’s memory can be made to the Landmarks Preservation Society, 43 Oak Street, Brewster, NY.
