State Police arrest Connecticut man for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Pound Ridge, New York – On March 6, 2016, New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested 65-year-old James E. Manning, Jr. of Stamford, Connecticut, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to a one-car auto collision that occurred on High Ridge Road.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Manning, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was traveling northbound on High Ridge Road. Manning exited the roadway and struck a guide rail.  Manning was placed under arrest for DWI following an investigation conducted by responding members.

Manning supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .23%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Pound Ridge Court on March 14, 2016.
