Danbury man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated following traffic stop for speeding

Southeast, New York – On March 6, 2016, New York State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Miguel A. Guaman-Yuqui, 23 years old, of Danbury, Connecticut, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped Guaman-Yuqui on Interstate 84 for traveling in excess of 95 miles per hour.  Subsequent investigation revealed that the defendant was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop.

Guaman-Yuqui supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .20%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Southeast Justice Court on March 31, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
