State Police in Livingston arrest Germantown man for rape

Germantown, New York – On March 3, 2016, New York State Police from SP Livingston arrested John P. Hoey, 46 years old, of Germantown, New York, for Rape in the 3rd Degree, a Class E Felony.
On March 1, 2016, Troopers were notified by the victim’s family that Hoey had reportedly engaged in sexual contact with a 16-year-old female victim.
Hoey was arraigned in the Town of Germantown Justice Court and released on $5,000 cash bail. He is due to reappear in Germantown Court at a later date.
