Three City of Newburgh residents arrested for Concealment of a Human Corpse in the Town of Plattekill.

On February 27, 2016, The New York State Police at Highland arrested Angel Delgado, age 44, Kristen A. Green, age 41 and Lauren A. Romano, age 33, all residents of the City of Newburgh, for Concealment of a Human Corpse (a class E felony) and Conspiracy in the Sixth Degree (a class B misdemeanor).

On February 26, 2016, at approximately 7:00 am, the New York State Police at Highland was called to investigate the death of an unidentified female who was located deceased in a ditch on New Unionville Road in the Town of Plattekill. Upon a thorough investigation conducted by the Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, Computer Crimes Unit and the New York State Intelligence Center, the deceased female was identified as Alexis Scanlon, age 28, from the City of Newburgh.  The subsequent investigation revealed that Alexis Scanlon suffered her death on February 25, 2016 while at the residence of Angel Delgado Jr. in the City of Newburgh. The City of Newburgh Police Department also assisted with the investigation and the investigation is still ongoing.

Delgado, Romano and Green were all processed at SP Highland and arraigned in the Town of Plattekill Court.  All three were subsequently remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
