Ellenville woman arrested for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd

The New York State Police at Ellenville announce the arrest of Danelle D. Huffman, a 32 year old from Ellenville, New York for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd, a Felony and False Written Statement, a misdemeanor.
On February 17, 2015 the NYSP at SP Ellenville responded to Walmart in Napanoch for a reported woman who altered a prescription and attempted to present the prescription to the pharmacy to be filled.
Further investigation revealed Danielle D. Huffman had been seen by a doctor, who provided her with a prescription for three suboxone. Huffman then altered the number three to eight and attempted to have the prescription filled.
During the course of the investigation Danielle D. Huffman provided a false written statement.
On February 17, 2015 Danielle D. Huffman was charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd and False Written Statement. Huffman was processed at SP Ellenville and arraigned in front of Town of Rochester, Town Justice Raymond Babcock, who released Huffman on her own recognizance. T/J Babcock ordered Huffman to reappear in the Town of Wawarsing Court on 02/20/15 at 8:30 a.m.
