Cold Spring man charged with drug possession

Fishkill, New York – On January 29, 2016, New York State Troopers from the Wappinger barracks arrested Michael T. Prescott, 31 years old, of Cold Spring, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Prescott was stopped by police for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.  Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, Prescott was found to possess cocaine and marihuana.

Prescott was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before the Village of Fishkill Court on February 22, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
