Poughkeepsie man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated under Leandra’s Law

LaGrange, New York – On February 14, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Wade A. Frank, 43 years old, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony, under Leandra’s Law.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Frank was operating on Route 55 in the Town of LaGrange for failing to stop at a red signal. Frank was arrested after he displayed clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Frank was charged with Felony DWI under Leandra’s Law after Troopers observed two passengers in the rear of the vehicle under the age of 16.

Frank supplied Troopers with a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .08%. He was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. Frank is scheduled to reappear in the Town of LaGrange Court on February 17, 2015.
