Greenwood Lake resident arrested for possession of child pornography

PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police in Monroe arrested Robert Turner (59) of Greenwood Lake for possessing a sexual performance by a child (Class E Felony). Information was obtained by the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit that child pornography was being downloaded to an IP address belonging to Turner. A search warrant was obtained for his residence at Crystal Court in Greenwood Lake, NY. At 7:00 AM this morning the search warrant was executed by Members of the State Police in Monroe, Troop F Computer Crimes Unit and Troop F Major Crimes Unit which resulted in the seizure of numerous downloaded files containing child pornography. He was arraigned in the Village of Greenwood Lake Court and sent to Orange County Jail on $50,000.00 bail.
