Lewisboro man arrested following an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle complaint

PRESS RELEASE

North Salem, New York – On February 8, 2015, New York State Police from the Somers barracks charged Mark H. Hall, 31 years old, of Lewisboro, New York, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, all Misdemeanors.

Troopers were contacted by a Purdy’s woman who reported that Hall, an acquaintance, took her 2006 Jeep without her permission. Troopers patrolled the area searching for Hall who returned to the area a short time later.

While Troopers interviewed Hall, he displayed clues that indicated he was impaired by drugs. Hall was also found to possess heroin and hypodermic needles.

Hall was arraigned before the Town of Somers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $1500 bond. He was scheduled to appear before the Town of North Salem Court on February 9, 2015.
