Speed enforcement on I-684
On February 14, 2015 between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:00PM, the State Police in Somers conducted a Speed Enforcement Initiative focusing on Interstate 684. The State Police issued a total of 45 tickets, the majority for speeding. This highway safety initiative perpetuates the mission of the State Police to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage caused by motor vehicle accidents through vehicle and traffic enforcement.
