Beverly J. Boyles, 78, a longtime resident of Wassaic, NY, died on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mrs. Boyles was a therapy aide at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY for 34 years retiring in 1991.
Born on May 24, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late James W. Killmer, Sr. and Margaret Eckline Killmer. On December 17, 1955 in Gallatin, NY, she married Robert Boyles, Sr. who died on February 2, 2015.
Mrs. Boyles is survived by two sons, Gary R. Boyles of Dover Plains, NY and Robert Boyles, Jr. of Wassaic, NY; two daughters, Margaret Ackerman of Wassaic, NY and Judith M. Curtis of Amenia, NY; two brothers, James W. Killmer, Jr. of Amenia and Edward M. Killmer of Amenia and two sisters, Helen Harrod of Wassaic and Joan Dietter of Millerton. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Chad and Jessica Ackerman and Russell Boyles and three great grandchildren, Faith, Grace and Landon Ackerman. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Richard Killmer and a sister, Marion Delaney.
