Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Report

Arrest: Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of John P. Planthaber, 23 years old, of Martyn Ln, Accord on Fevruary 12, 2015 at approximately 12:45 PM.
Mr Planthaber was charged Criminal Mischief in the Forth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor, Deputies and the New York State Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the road on Hurley Mountain Rd near the Town of Hurley and Town of Marbletown town line. Investigation revealed that Mr Planhaber and a female became involved in a domestic dispute in a motor vehicle. During the argument Mr Planthaber exited the vehicle and kicked the driver’s door of the vehicle, causing damage.

Mr Planthaber was arraigned in the Town of Marbletown Justice Court. He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $750 cash bail or $5,000 secured bond to reappear on May 2, 2015 at 5:00 PM.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by members of the New York State Police.

Arrest: Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Anjanette Evans, 40 years old, of Kingston, N.Y.
Ms. Evans was arrested 4 times over the past week and charged with Criminal contempt in the First Degree (felony) and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree (Misdemeanor)
On February 8, 2015, it was determined through investigation that Ms. Evans contacted the victim several times via phone, for no legitimate purpose, and during one contact, made threats against the victim’s life.

Ms. Evans was located at her residence, where she was taken into custody and transported to Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Port Ewen substation for processing without incident.
Ms. Evans was arraigned before Judge Manicone, and released on her own recognizance, and ordered to present herself to Kingston City Court on February 9, 2015 at 8:30am.
On February 09, 2015 at approximately 08:25 pm Deputies responded to a residence for a report of a violation of an order of protection. Through investigation it was determined that Ms. Evans had contacted her ex-boyfriend after knowing there was a full stay away order of protection in effect.

Ms. Evans was arraigned in the Town of Esopus Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $2,500.00 cash bail and $5,000.00 property bond to reappear in the Town of Esopus Court on February 17, 2015 at 05:00 pm.

On February 12, 2015 at approximately 8:00 PM, Deputies responded to a complaint of a violation of an Order of Protection. Investigation revealed that Ms. Evans violated a Full Stay Away Order of Protection issued by the Town of Esopus Court by contacting the protected party via telephone and making threats to kill that individual.

Ms. Evans was arraigned in the Town of Esopus Court before the Honorable Judge Shanley-Manicone and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond.
On February 13, 2015 at approximately 6:1Opm, Deputies responded to a complaints the Ms. Evans had violated an Order of Protection again, shortly after being bailed out of the Ulster County Jail.

Ms. Evans was located in New Paltz and taken into custody and charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree. She was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Grieco of the Town of Esopus Justice Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $100,000.00 bail and $400,000.00 property bond.

Arrest: Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Kareem Bonaventure, 39 years old, of 114 Pearl Street, Kingston, NY.
Mr. Bonaventure was charged with the misdemeanor of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree.

On February 12, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Deputies were alerted by a concerned citizen regarding a male subject in the Town of Esopus Library who was consuming an alcoholic beverage. Upon investigation, Deputies identified the subject as Kareem Bonaventure. Mr. Bonaventure was accompanied by a female subject who is the protected party of a Stay Away Order of Protection issued against Mr. Bonaventure.

Mr. Bonaventure was arrested and arraigned in Town of Esopus Court. He was remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $1000 bond. Mr. Bonaventure is due back in Town of Esopus Court on March 16, 2015 at 4:30 PM.
