The Pikes Peak Area Crimestoppers continues to remind community members about a $10,000 reward available for information that leads to arresting those who killed 19-year-old Santiago Calleros III of Colorado Springs in 2022.
Crime Stoppers reports that on July 6, 2022, at approximately 10:45 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) rushed to El Morro Mobile Home Park in the 3600 block of El Morro Road, near South Academy Boulevard and Chelton Road, after receiving shooting reports.
When officers and medical personnel reached the scene, they discovered a man who had suffered at least one gunshot wound and immediately provided medical assistance, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities identified the victim as Calleros, whom the Hispanic community knew as rap artist “Lil Travieso.” He leaves behind a two-year-old daughter, and Crime Stoppers reports that his death has deeply affected the community.
