Gary and Melanie Ryder of Dover Plains, N.Y. and Susan and Gregory Jones of Belmont, N.C. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Ryder, to Mitchell Moor, son of Ken and Cathy Moor of Florence, Ala.
Miss Ryder is a 2003 graduate of Mauldin High School in Mauldin, S.C. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007 from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. and a Master of Arts degree in 2010 from The University of North Alabama. She is currently employed at Bradford Health Services in Madison as a substance abuse counselor.
Mr. Moor is a 2001 graduate of Brooks High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Alabama in 2008. He is currently employed with Elk River Treatment Program in Elkmont as a counselor.
Vows will be exchanged June 26, 2015 at 4:30 in the afternoon at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation in Gurley, Ala.
