Martha C. (Bard) Heady, 87, of Ft. Pierce, passed on October 12, 2015, at Laurel Pointe Nursing Home, Ft. Pierce, FL.
She was born December 19, 1927, in Pawling, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Margaretta (Palmer) Bard. She was a long time resident of Pawling, NY, moving to Ft. Pierce in 1986.
Mrs. Heady was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, having been a member for over 68 years. She was a member and Past Matron of Harlem Valley Chapter #703 OES in Pawling, NY, and was an associate member of Ruth Chapter #7 OES of Ft. Pierce.
She was the wife of the late Allen B. Heady, who passed in 2004, and is survived by her sons, Allen B. Heady of Patchouge,NY, and Brent R. Heady of Ft. Pierce, FL; a daughter, Margaretta J. Wilkinson of Luraville,FL; five grandchildren; a great grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua L. Garrison of Ft. Pierce, FL, in 1993.
