Obituary, Sam Weinstein

 

Sam Weinstein, 91, a long-time resident of Pawling, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Born in New York City on April 16, 1924 to Mayer and Sophie (Breiman) Weinstein, Sam served in the US Army during WWII, and after he completed his military obligation, he founded and operated a photographic lab named Color Group in Hawthorne, NY.  He moved to Pawling in 2000 from North Salem, and has made Pawling his home for the last 15 years.

Sam is survived by his wife, Christine (Hendry) Weinstein of Pawling; his two sons, Marc and his wife, Cami, of Chappaqua, NY and Adam and his wife, Mariana, of NYC; and his brother David and his wife, Vivian, of California.  Sam is predeceased by his son Carl, who passed away in 2008, and his brother Morris and sister Virginia.
