Obituary, Madeline M. Foster

 

Millbrook – Madeline M. Foster, 81, of Millbrook and formerly of Salt Point, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn,NY on July 26, 1934, she was the daughter of Ysmael and Aurora Camba Paz.

Madeline was employed by Cavalier Gage in Salt Point,NY and then by Marco Manufacturing in LaGrangeville,NY where she retired in 2012.

Madeline was predeceased by her first husband, Nicholas Besitko and her second husband, Richard W. Foster in 1992.

She was a member of Millbrook Seniors and a former member of Salt Point Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

Madeline is survived by her children; Maryann Baker and husband William of Pleasant Valley, Diann Sundblom and husband Eric of Pleasant Valley, Richard Foster Jr. and wife Susan, Linda Lawlor and husband Adam of Clinton Corners and Dawn Roofner and husband Kevin of Carmichael, PA; grandchildren, Michele, Jennifer, Rebecca, Sarah, Danielle, Matthew, Margaret, Crystal, Kimberly, Michael, Sharon, Cassandra, Joseph, Rachel, Ashley, Ryan, Adam Jr., and Matthew; sisters, Caroline Majid and Adele Venezia, both of Long Island, Dolores Gill of Florida; and brother Robert Paz of Croton-on-Hudson. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Ysmael Paz Jr., Manuel Paz and Ysmael Paz; and twin sister Margaret Paz.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at  3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 16 at 10 am from St. Joseph’s Church, North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
