ARREST: Detectives from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of a Kingston woman on larceny related charges.
On January 26, 2015 this agency began investigating a complaint of several pieces of jewelry stolen from a residence in Port Ewen. Detectives determined Amanda L. Zemko, 26, of Kingston, removed the jewelry from the residence while employed as a babysitter. Ms. Zemko later sold the stolen items at pawn shops in the City of Kingston.
Ms. Zemko was charged with the misdemeanor of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree and released to appear in the City of Kingston Court at a later time. The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be filed.
