Hudson, New York – On February 10, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Livingston barracks arrested Maria M. Ruiz, 44 years old, of Hudson, New York, for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st Degree, a Class E Felony.

Ruiz is accused of unlawfully collecting over $11,000 worth of unemployment benefits between March of 2012 and March of 2013 which she was not entitled to collect.
