Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith is releasing the name of the victim from the fatal motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident reported earlier today. The Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 86 year old Barbara Fetzer from the Putnam Lake section of the Town of Patterson.

The accident remains under investigation.
