Massachusetts Man Arrested by the Hawthorne State Police for Arson

PRESS RELEASE
On August 19, 2015, The New York State Police from the Hawthorne Barracks arrested Richard T. Cass, age 54, of Pittsfield, Mass. for Arson 4th Degree. Cass started a fire which caused a Salt Shed Building located at the New York State Thruway property in Larchmont NY to burn down. Also other property near the building suffered damage due to the fire.
Cass was arrested for Arson 4th Degree (E-Felony) and was released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to return to the Town of Mamaroneck Court on August 31, 2015 at 6:30 pm to answer to this charge.
