Resolution 2015048 Payment of Bills for the Town of Pawling
Whereas, The Town of Pawling Bookkeeper has reviewed and prepared the vouchers and has offered them for review, and
Whereas, the vouchers have been approved in accordance with the Town of Pawling policy, and
Whereas, the vouchers have been numbered 20150001 to2015____, now therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Pawling Town Board hereby accepts the vouchers as prepared and on the recommendation of the Bookkeeper hereby authorizes payment of said vouchers for the Town of Pawling on this date in the amount of $___,______.
Resolution 2015046 Facility Use Requests – Waiver / Fees
Whereas, the Town of Pawling operates facilities that from time to time will be used by the public for events other than the Town’s own usage, and
Whereas, the Director of Recreation will periodically receive request to waive the fees, and
Whereas, the Town Board sets the fees for the use of facilities, now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the following fees / waiver(s) have been authorized by the Town Board:
*Pawling Little League 2/1 – 12/31/15 Murrow Park & Dodge Rd
Every day – 8am to 9pm
*Pawling Lacrosse 3/1 – 8/1/15 Lakeside Park Fields
Tue & Wed 5pm to 8pm
Saturdays 9am to 3pm (6/7/15- after 2pm)
Sunday 12-3pm
American Legion 2/18/15 Legion Basement Kitchen & Room
12pm to 10pm – WAIVE FEE
Senator Murphy 2/24/15 Lathrop Main Room
5pm to 9pm – WAIVE FEE
* Recreation Department & Building and Ground are working with these Leagues on scheduling times for the field requests
Resolution 2015047 Position- Part Time Zoning Administrator
Whereas, the Town Board has considered adding the position of Part-Time Zoning Administrator to its inventory of approved positions, and
Whereas, such position will evaluate each application made before the Town of Pawling for the Building, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals, and set forth the necessary path for review, now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Town Board hereby creates the position of Part-Time Zoning Administrator and authorizes the Town Supervisor to advertise to fill such position at a rate of $_____/hr.
Resolution 2015048~~~~~~~~~ ~~Billing for Pawling Water District #1
Whereas, Pawling Water District #1 Bills need to be approved by the Pawling Town Board, and,
Whereas, the bills have been prepared and submitted in the amount of $—-______ for the period of November 1, 2014 through January 31, 2015 by the Water District Clerk, now therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Pawling Town Board hereby accepts the Billing as recommendation for Pawling Water District #1.
Resolution 2015049 Release – RFP Replacement Water Meters WD#1
Whereas, the Town of Pawling operates a Water District in the Pawling area, and
Whereas, said district is known as Pawling Water District #1 (WD#1), and
Whereas, within the Agreement for the Purchase of Water with the Village of Pawling, the Village has the right to control which meters the Town uses within WD#1, and
Whereas, the Village has directed the Town to convert to the same brand and style of Neptune meters used by the Village, now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Town Board hereby releases the RFP “Water Meter Replacement Project” with a bid opening set for March 20, 2015 at 10am.
Resolution 2015050 Appointments – Constable
Whereas, the Town of Pawling operates a Uniformed Constable Department which presides over the Town of Pawling Justice Court and enforces Pawling Town Code within the borders of the Town, and
Whereas, the Chief Constable has formally requested that the Town Board fill vacancies within the Constable department with qualified and trained individuals, pursuant to NYS DCJS, as they apply to the Town, and,
Whereas, Dwayne Jackson has applied for the position of part-time Constable, and,
Whereas, Chief Constable Kelly has interviewed the applicant and has recommended that the Town hire Dwayne Jackson, on a part-time basis, as soon as possible, now, therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Town Board hereby appoints Dwayne Jackson as Constable for the Town of Pawling, pending acceptance and approval of all necessary documentation.
