Bronx Man, Wanted in Putnam, Arrested in White Plains

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Bronx man, the subject of a warrant in Putnam County.

On August 8, 2015 at 4:44 a.m., the Sheriff’s Department received notification from the White Plains Police Department that their officers had arrested Matthew D. Alacci, 29, of 2850 Clafin Avenue, Bronx, New York on a charge of Disorderly Conduct. During the arrest process, the officers determined that Mr. Alacci was the subject of an active bench warrant issued by the Town of Patterson Justice Court. The warrant was issued after Mr. Alacci had failed to appear in court to answer a charge of Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor, for which he had been arrested and released in his own recognizance last August. Deputy Sheriff Thomas Lee responded to White Plains to take Mr. Alacci into custody. The defendant was processed at the Putnam County Sheriffs’ Department and held pending arraignment.

If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, the defendant could face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.00.
