Hannacroix man arrested for Grand Larceny 4th

PRESS RELEASE

On February 7, 2015, New York State Police at Catskill arrested JOSEPH W. TANNER, age 27, of Hannacroix, N.Y. for Grand Larceny 4th degree (a class E felony), Petit Larceny( a class A misdemeanor) and two counts of Trespass ( a violation).

The arrest was the result of an investigation into the reported thefts of batteries out of trucks that occurred at a business in Coxsackie. It is alleged that TANNER went to the business on two separate occasions stealing 11 batteries the first time then returning the next day and stealing 3 more. The total value of the stolen property was estimated to be over $2000.00.

TANNER was arraigned in the Town of Coxsackie Court before T/J Thomas Fori and committed to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $2500.00 cash or $5,000.00 bond. TANNER is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Coxsackie of Catskill Court on 02/12/15.
