TAKOMA PARK, MD — Chief Antonio DeVaul of the Takoma Park Police Department has announced the arrest of Ronald John Dyson, a 67-year-old man with no fixed address, on charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
According to an official statement from the department, the incident occurred on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Officers on patrol observed a man, later identified as Dyson, completely nude and standing in front of the Takoma Park-Silver Spring Co-Op, located in the 200 block of Ethan Allen Avenue.
Police responded immediately and took Dyson into custody without incident. He was later transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was formally charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
Authorities have not reported any additional offenses or whether Dyson has a history of similar behavior. No injuries or altercations were reported during the arrest.
Residents who witnessed the event expressed concern, particularly given the public and family-friendly nature of the Co-Op area. The Takoma Park Police Department has reminded the public that it remains committed to maintaining safety and order in public spaces.
