Five Students Honored at DCC History, Government and Economics Department Award Ceremony

May 4, 2015 –Dutchess Community College recently held its annual Eugene Sheridan Awards ceremony, which honors student achievement in social sciences.

Two History, Government and Economics Departmental Awards for Outstanding Achievement in the Social Sciences were presented. Awardees were Daniel Molloy (Athens) and Brienne Thornton (Fishkill).

Zoe Kozma (Poughkeepsie) was presented the Ann and Dan Zodikoff Memorial Scholarship. John Shaughnessy (Millbrook) received the Xavier H. Verbeck Memorial Award and Caleb Angell (Clinton Corners) was presented with the Eugene Sheridan Award for Excellence in the Social Sciences.
