Town of Washington Recreation Commission Member Needed – April 9, 2015
The Town of Washington Recreation Commission is seeking volunteers to fill a vacant seat. The Commission is a seven-member board responsible for overseeing the recreation facilities and programs offered by the Town of Washington. The Commission meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall. Members can expect a time commitment of between four and eight hours per month which includes meetings and participation in community events. Each member serves a seven-year term. Interested candidates must be residents of the Town of Washington. Letters of interest and resumes will be accepted until May 13, 2015 and may be sent by mail to Town of Washington Recreation, PO Box 970, Millbrook, NY 12545, e-mailed to townrecreation@gmail.com , or hand delivered to the Recreation Office on the second floor of the Village Hall.
