RENOWNED LOCAL COMPOSER AND ARTIST EXHIBITS AND PERFORMS IN MILLBROOK THIS WEEKEND

Philippe Treuille, 34, composer and artist, will be showcased at the Millbrook Library this month.

Treuille’s music has been performed internationally; at Lincoln Center, the Tanglewood Institute, the Chateau in Fontainebleau, and museums and concert halls in America and France.

Composing since age 15, Treuille was trained at Juilliard and Northwestern University and lives
in Millbrook and New York City.

His remarkable art includes oils, acrylics, drawings and giclée prints, and primarily represents a new take on animal portraits in unusual venues. There will be a show of these works at the Millbrook Library from January 4th through February 23rd.

A champagne reception on Friday, January 4th at 5 PM opens the exhibit and is free and open to all.

On Saturday, January 5th at 2 PM a live concert called ‘Blue Cat’ and ‘Dog Trains’ will relate his visual artwork to his music.

The concert is designed for all ages, with whimsical music and art beloved by children as well as lyrical classical music for all.
