Rhinebeck woman arrested for Leandra’s Law DWI

PRESS RELEASE
Red Hook, New York – On October 18, 2018, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Jillian A. Hargrove, age 36, of Rhinebeck, NY, for Aggravated DWI with a Child in the Vehicle (Leandra’s Law), a class E felony, and Resisting Arrest, a class A misdemeanor.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2012 Subaru Impreza on State Route 9 in the town of Red Hook for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  An investigation found Hargrove was operating under the influence of alcohol with two children under the age of 16 in the vehicle.  After a brief struggle, Hargrove was taken into custody and processed without further incident.

Hargrove was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Red Hook Court on October 25, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.
